Joan Sergenian is a Mortgage Loan Officer at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. She joined Fairway in 2006. She started her mortgage career in 1992 and enjoys helping people find the right mortgage to fit their needs. After graduating from College with her accounting degree she worked at a local title company for 8 years prior to originating mortgages.
Joan’s experience and time in the mortgage industry has helped her build her business to be 100% referrals from past customers, Friends, Family and the Real Estate Community. Joan understands that purchasing a home is one of the most important choices someone will have to make in their lifetime and she helps her clients learn about and feel comfortable with the loan process and costs associated with different loans. Joan has experience in a wide-range of mortgage loans. She has a passion for working with Veterans and other Heroes, helping them with their mortgage loan. She is knowledgeable with Federal VA Loans, Conventional, WHEDA, FHA Loans and Jumbo Loans.
Joan was born and raised in Madison. She enjoys camping, boating and fishing and most things outdoors. Joan has 3 children that are all adults now which allows her time for another passion of hers which is riding her Harley and seeing this Nation’s natural beauty. She belongs to a Women’s Motorcycle Riding Group called the Stilettos on Steel. She also enjoys watching the Badgers and the Packers!
